Student Financial Need and Emergency Aid in a Time of Crisis

Survey results from Ohio community college students in Fall 2019 demonstrated the tenuous financial situation faced by many. Kasey Klepfer from Trellis Research will present findings from the Fall 2019 Student Financial Wellness survey to aid colleges as they identify priorities and strategies to assist students in this pandemic environment. In addition, MDRC researchers, Evan Weissman and Julia Schmidt, will discuss lessons to help institutions distribute emergency aid promptly, equitably, and to the students who may benefit the most.

Target Audience: financial aid and student affairs administrators, though all are welcome and encouraged to join.
